Vampires and werewolves are so played out. Try one, or all, of these trilogies: Fallen by Lauren Kate (fallen angels vs. demons), Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (wolf changelings), or Forest of Hands & Teeth (girl v. zombies). BTW, they all have Book 3's coming out in the spring and summer so now is the time to read up! Mwah, mwah, ciao!
